Xense develops advanced medical x ray imaging hardware, software and algorithms. We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer for desk top application development for image acquisition software, user interface software development, medical image viewer. This role involves interaction/collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of optical scientists, data scientists, electronics engineer and embedded and client-side software engineers. Candidates should be excellent engineers and organizers that have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Duties and responsibilities:

• Execute full software development life cycle
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Prepare documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot and debug code
• Comply with project plans and industry regulations
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle

Requirements and qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Math and Algorithms Ability Preferred
• Understanding and experienced in Agile methodologies
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing software in C# .NET using Visual Studio
• Proficient in software engineering tools
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
